Meet our staff

Anna Perry

Founder, director

Anna Perry is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and coach in the Southwest Louisiana area. She received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance from McNeese State University with a minor in Psychology and an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. Anna also has the Performing Arts Industry Essentials Certification from the NYU x Tisch x BACKSTAGE program. Anna is currently the Head Coach of the McNeese Cowgirl Kickers, competitive and recreational teacher and choreographer for Hallie Marie and Company, and the director and dancer for the Gumbeaux Gator Gator Girls. She began The Kicker Experience, a recruiting event for the McNeese Cowgirl Kickers and was the co-founder of the Gator Girls.  Anna received her dance training from Katy Kress Dance Revolution and Sarah Quinn Jones School of Ballet in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical,  Hip Hop, Contemporary, Pointe, and Acro. Anna was a competitive studio dancer as well as a member of the W.W. Lewis Rebelettes and Sulphur High School Twisters, specializing in Jazz and Kickline while serving as Captain for both teams. After graduating high school, Anna became a member of the McNeese Cowgirl Kickers, specializing in Jazz, Hip Hop, Collegiate Pom, and Kickline while serving as Captain. Anna continues to learn and train including being a finalist for Ciara’s Dance Icon, acceptance and scholarship offer to CLI Conservatory, being a teacher with Rhythm in Motion, and much more.

Aubrie Lyons

The intern

Aubrie Lyons is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher in the Southwest Louisiana area. She is currently pursuing a degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations at McNeese State University, where she is also a second-year member of the Cowgirl Kickers. Aubrie has previous experience as a Gator Girl for the Gumbeaux Gators and continues to grow as both a performer and educator in the dance community. She received her training from Tammy Palmer’s Center Stage, Katy Kress Dance Revolution, Sarah Quinn Jones School of Ballet, Cathy Kurth Dance Academy, and The Source Studio, where she developed in styles such as: jazz, musical theater, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe, vogue, and more. Aubrie is also an alum of Heat Convention Pre-Professional Company, where she trained and assisted industry professionals for three years, including Heather Morris and Comfort Fedoke. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong foundation in both performance and mentorship. Aubrie continues to train, teach, and choreograph throughout the Southwest Louisiana area, with a passion for inspiring the next generation of dancers while continuing to grow in her own artistry.
